10 non-banal tips that will blow your Instagram
We know that you are tired of reading the same tips:
Add hashtags;
Create interesting content (this is just great, of course,
advice!);
Post regularly.
Therefore, we have collected 10 non-banal tips that will
help your Instagram account stand out and ensure its growth of subscribers,
reach and engagement. DIY and enjoy the result.
1. Hide the hashtags in the image or video for the Stories.
The search for hashtags in the story appeared a long time
ago, but in the usual way you can’t put a lot of them, they will close the
picture / video itself. But you can be unusual! Like all ingenious, it is done
simply: write a hashtag, color it with the color of one of the elements of the
picture or video, which remains unchanged, reduce and place it there. Voi la!
Now you can shove them there as you wish, and your stories will get even more
coverage! Like in one movie:
- See the gopher?
- No.
- And he is!
2. Publish panoramic photos in gallery format
Sometimes he wants to fit all the beauty of the landscape in
one photo, but with all the desire - only a small part breaks in? Just a couple
of simple actions, your picture gallery in a post can be turned into a
full-fledged panorama! So:
Shoot something that is breathtaking (or not spirit) in
panoramic mode;
Download any application for cutting photos, such as
Instagrid;
It cuts a panoramic photo into three parts;
Typically, the application itself offers to immediately go
to the Instagram for publication - then you already know what to do 😉
3. Decorate the text of your story with a gradient
If you adapt (almost no one succeeds right away), then you
can colorize the inscriptions in the story with a gradient color. It is done
like this:
Type in the story;
Select the inscription by tapping it 2 times;
Hold the color of the palette with which you want to start
the gradient with one finger, and with the other finger hold the first letter
of the inscription (where the cursor is);
Move one finger across the caption so that the cursor also
moves, and the other across the color palette.
Enjoy the riot of colors!
Below, just in case, we show where and how to click:
4. Mark many people or brands in the photo at once.
Sounds weird, agree. But we will explain everything now, and
you will agree with us. Tagging people in the photo is great advice, the more
people you tag, the greater the involvement. But if another user clicks on the
photo, he will see such an unpleasant picture (on the left).
5. Let search engines see your content with the Alt
attribute
The Alt attribute is a short phrase that is used to describe
an image so that in a search on Yandex and Google images we can find the images
you need. Since the end of 2018, this has also appeared on Instagram, so if you
fill it out, the images will be able to get into the search engine results,
creating another trickle of traffic to your account. In addition, the
innovation also has a social function, allowing visually impaired people to
“read” the tape using the Screen Reader system, which voices everything that
happens on the smartphone screen. And although Instagram has its own AI, which
automatically puts alt descriptions for pictures, so far its accuracy is still
far from the human mind.
Alt tags can be specified when creating a post:
And you can add to an already published post:
6. Use long hashtags.
We all understand that with a hashtag like “beach” or
“flowers” it’s extremely difficult to break into that search recommendation.
But surely your next post can be described by a more specific phrase?
For example, you decided to publish a photo of a beautiful
building in the architectural style of “postmodern”. And for him, the hashtag
#architecture brings together more than 80 million posts! And #postmodernarchitecture
- just a little less than 9 thousand. These are fairly similar hashtags, but in
the longer competition, they are incomparably lower, which gives you more
chances to appear in the search results and get likes, subscriptions and
comments.
In addition, new posts on popular hashtags are added every
minute, if not a second, so even if you manage to be at the top, this is very
short. And, as you already understood, with long hashtags everything happens
exactly the opposite. And the less often your posts are identified by hashtags,
the lower the engagement!
Of course, you should not stop using common hashtags, but we
recommend that you insert them in the 80/20 ratio, when the majority of them
are occupied by rare phrases.
7. Attract attention at the time of the post
Instagram Followers
activity most of all in the publication in the first half hour after its
release and here is how you can provoke it: 15 minutes before and within 30
minutes after (well, how much patience is enough) find through the hashtags
search as close as possible to your topics of small accounts. Scroll through 10
or more posts in a row, leave a few meaningful comments. If the name of your
account does not look like a typical store like sumki_shop, then, having
noticed such activity from an unfamiliar account in the feed, some people may
go to your profile. And since we searched for them by hashtags, they may well
like the new post, and some will like it as a thank you for their interest. We
want to note that this differs from massfollowing, where an account is signed
and leaves 1-2 likes for thousands of accounts in the hope of mutual
subscription. Here we act pointwise, at the time of the release of the post and
relying on strong activity in other people's accounts.
8. Respond to comments ASAP.
Yes, it would seem that this recommendation does not reach
full advice, but many neglect this, responding to comments at once, choosing a
convenient time. But an instant reaction is vital to maintaining dialogue until
your interlocutor has left to go about his business. In addition, the more
active the discussion, the higher your post rises in the feeds of other
subscribers. Therefore, it is better to answer immediately, in a friendly and
short way, than to postpone inventing ingenious answers for later, sometimes
completely forgetting about it.
One more trick - note in your answer other people who may
also have something to say. Directly write: @username, and what do you think
about this?
9. Use the secret menus in Boomerang and Hyperlapse.
The secret menu of these official applications allows you to
take advantage of additional features such as resolution, frame rate, speed.
To get there, tap 4 times on the screen with four fingers
and ... voila! Maximum control over shooting. But so far only available for
iOS.
